BLSA Elections: Monday March 28th @ Noon in Bannan 142

BLSA will be holding elections on Monday, March 28 at noon in Bannan 142. This is a great opportunity to get involved with BLSA activities and network with other organizations as well. This is a very important meeting so we hope to see you all there!

The available board positions are:

President
The President is responsible for
- Representing BLSA at all events and meetings
- Soliciting speakers
- Conducting outreach to the bar, law, and undergraduate associations and the Santa Clara community

Vice President
The Vice President is responsible for:
- Representing BLSA at all events and meetings
- Soliciting speakers
- Conducting outreach to the bar, law, and undergraduate associations and the Santa Clara community

Treasurer
The Treasurer is responsible for
- Creating and overseeing budget
- Managing reimbursements, transfers, event costs and other financial details
- Fundraising for NBLSA conferences and BLSA Endowment Scholarship

Secretary

The Secretary is responsible for:
- Booking rooms for events and meetings
- Making travel arrangements for conferences and other events
- Sending biweekly updates before/after meetings to general membership
-Taking minutes for executive and general meetings and post online
-Advertising BLSA events and meetings in Grapevine and on tv monitors

Alumni Coordinator
Alumni Coordinator is responsible for:
-Creating alumni database and questionnaire
-Working with Historian to create yearly newsletter
-Organizing the Alumni Reunion

Historian
The Historian is responsible for:
- Taking pictures of events and meetings
-Creating visual displays for conferences, Club Day, and other events
-Creating and maintaining a "Memory Box" of BLSA history
- Compiling and maintaining outlines for online posting
-Compiling a 1-page summary of BLSA's history (when, how, and why it was founded and by whom, major historical events, etc.)

Community Service Coordinator
The Community Service Coordinator is responsible for:
-Organizing community service related events.

Part-Time Liaison
Part-time Students Liaison is responsible for:
- Being an intermediary between part-time and full-time students
