CHARLES HOUSTON BAR ASSOCIATION SPEED NETWORKING EVENT, THURSDAY APRIL 21, 2011
CHBA's Young Lawyers Presents
"Speed Networking Event AND Reception and General Membership Meeting"

Date: Thursday, April 21, 2011
Time: 6-7 p.m. Speed Networking
7-8 p.m. Reception and General Membership Meeting
Location: Linen Life Gallery - 770 East Fourteenth Street, San Leandro, CA

The Young Lawyers Committee of the Charles Houston Bar Association is excited to host it's first event of the year - the "Speed Networking Event!"

We are fortunate to have so many talented and successful African-American attorneys and law students in the Bay Area. Our goal is to promote a culture of mentorship by connecting newly admitted African-American attorneys (less than 5 years experience) and law students with experienced attorneys by hosting a Speed Networking Session between 6:00 and 7:00 PM.
We'll end the night with our Spring General Membership Meeting from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Both events will be held at the Linen Life Gallery, an African-American owned gallery providing a creative and artistic space for the community. There are a limited number of spaces available for experienced attorneys and new attorneys/law students for the Speed Networking. Experienced attorneys must register by April 8, 2011. Attorneys having less than 5 years of practice and law students must register by April 15, 2011.

If you are interested in participating, contact Cometria Cooper at younglawyers@charleshoustonbar.org.

Sincerely,
Cometria Cooper
